[Listening to: You Are My Hope - Skillet]

   Man, sometimes living with God can be the most tiring thing of all. He gives strength beyond all hope of human endurance, and encouragement even beyond our wildest dreams, and yet that which is worth more than all we could imagine is still the most difficult of all: living in the kingdom of God.

   Jesus said the kingdom of God is like a great treasure, that when a man finds it, he cannot help but realize its worth; he then goes and sells all that he has, abandoning all his previous hopes and dreams and plans, for this one thing, this thing beyond price and all human measurements of value: that for which his very soul was made.

   This is what we were made for, this is the only thing for which we can truly live. As Paul said, "to gain Christ and be found in him, not having my own righteousness . . . but the righteousness that is from God by faith." (Phil. 3:8-9)
